1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Solana Staking Tax Calculator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a tool that helps users calculate their Solana staking rewards and corresponding USD values for tax reporting purposes. The Service queries public blockchain data and historical price information to generate reports.

The Service offers the following tiers:

• Basic (Free) - Limited to 1 wallet and 6 months of history
• Premium Yearly ($29/year) - Up to 5 wallets, unlimited history, expires after 1 year
• Premium Lifetime ($99 one-time) - Up to 5 wallets, unlimited history, never expires

Premium subscriptions can be purchased using SOL, USDC, or USDT on the Solana network.

3. Wallet Connection & Non-Custodial Nature

The Service allows you to connect your Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare, Coinbase Wallet, Ledger) for identity verification and Premium subscription payments. It is important to understand:

• We never have access to your private keys. Your wallet connection uses industry-standard protocols that only allow us to view your public address and request transaction signatures.
• We cannot move your funds. Any transaction (such as a Premium subscription payment) requires your explicit approval in your wallet application.
• We do not custody any assets. All your SOL, tokens, and staked assets remain entirely under your control in your own wallet at all times.
• Wallet connection is optional. You can use the Basic tier by manually entering wallet addresses without connecting a wallet.

4. Premium Subscription Payments

When purchasing a Premium subscription:

• Payments are processed on the Solana blockchain as standard token transfers
• You will be asked to approve the transaction in your connected wallet
• Payment amounts are displayed in USD equivalent at the time of purchase
• All payments are final and non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain transactions
• Your subscription status is linked to your wallet address
• Yearly subscriptions expire after 365 days from purchase
• Lifetime subscriptions never expire and include a special "Lifetime Member" badge on CSV exports

5. Disclaimer of Tax Advice

The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice. The calculations and reports generated by the Service:

• Are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for tax filing
• May not reflect all taxable events or comply with your jurisdiction's requirements
• Should be reviewed by a qualified tax professional before use

You are solely responsible for your tax obligations and should consult with a qualified tax professional regarding your specific situation.

6. Accuracy of Data

While we strive to provide accurate information, we make no warranties regarding:

• The completeness of staking reward data from blockchain sources
• The accuracy of historical price data from third-party APIs
• The correctness of USD value calculations
• The availability or reliability of the Service

Price data is sourced from CoinGecko and CryptoCompare. Blockchain data is sourced from Helius and Dune Analytics. These sources may have their own limitations and data gaps.

7. International Tax Context

This Service provides tax period presets and report formatting for multiple jurisdictions including Australia (ATO), United States (IRS), United Kingdom (HMRC), and Canada (CRA). However:

• Tax laws vary by jurisdiction and change frequently; the Service may not reflect current requirements in your country
• Tax agency guidance on cryptocurrency (ATO, IRS, HMRC, CRA) may evolve over time
• USD values are provided; local currency conversion is your responsibility
• Individual circumstances may require different treatment
• Always consult a qualified tax professional in your jurisdiction

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service, its creators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends excessive requests
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the project contributors. The Solana name and logo are trademarks of Solana Foundation.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
